Roles and permissions

Roles control which pages you can open. Access is scoped by restaurant and company membership.

Management roles

These roles can access Tools and manage restaurant setup.

  • Owner
  • Admin
  • Operating Partner
  • Manager

Trainer role

Trainers can manage Staff Quizzing and view Staff Performance, but typically do not manage billing or restaurant settings.

Staff roles

These roles focus on daily operations and learning.

  • Server
  • Trainee

Company vs. restaurant access

  • Company admins (Owner/Admin/Operating Partner) can add restaurants and manage billing for the company.
  • Restaurant access controls which locations appear in the app.

Some features require a Premium plan. If a page shows a lock, open Billing to activate your plan or restaurant slot.
