Weekly Auto Quiz

Weekly Auto Quiz automatically builds a quiz from the week's menu updates and assigns it to the roles you choose — so staff are tested on what actually changed, without a manager writing questions by hand.

Where to find it​

  • Tools > Weekly Auto Quiz (managers only)

Set it up​

  1. Open Tools > Weekly Auto Quiz.
  2. Turn on the Enable toggle.
  3. Pick which roles should receive the quiz (for example Servers and Trainers).
  4. Set the due window — how many hours staff have after the quiz is generated.
  5. Click Save Weekly Auto Quiz.

Preview and manual runs​

  • The settings page shows a preview of the questions generated from this week's menu changes, so you can sanity-check before anything is assigned.
  • Generate this week now creates and assigns the quiz immediately. It uses the settings currently on screen, including an Enable toggle you just flipped, so you don't need to save first.
  • Recent runs are listed below the settings with their status and summary.

What staff see​

Assigned staff get the quiz in their Your Quizzes card on Home and a push notification (when notifications are enabled). Results flow into the staff performance views managers use.

If no quiz is generated​

A weekly run is skipped when there were no meaningful menu updates that week — that's expected, not an error.
